Best Buyers Guide – 5 Great Point And Shoot Cameras For Travel

Point-and-shoot cameras – Want to take gorgeous vacation photos without lugging around a bulky camera bag? When I adore taking great pictures while traveling, there are times when I simply want to leave my mirrorless camera at home and go.

But, aside from a smartphone that can capture excellent photos while still fitting in the front pocket of a pair of jeans, what is the best travel camera? The solution to that query is point-and-shoot cameras.

Why? Because point-and-shoot cameras are the best camera for people who are constantly on the move. These cameras are small enough to fit in a pocket and are exceedingly simple to operate.

Sure, camera phones have replaced point-and-shoot cameras for the modern traveler, but when compared to point-and-shoot cameras on the market today, cellphones are limited in the lenses they offer.

Plus, point-and-shoot cameras are less expensive than DSLRs and work well with today’s smartphones. So, if you lose a camera rather than a telephone, the financial impact isn’t as severe.

Are you looking for a modern, lightweight point-and-shoot camera that you can carry in your pocket? If that’s the case, you should read on.

Fujifilm X100V Digital Camera

Fuji Point and shoot

Every Day, Everywhere: The X100V comes with a newly designed, built-in 23mmF2 lens that ensures you can capture those memorable moments at maximum clarity with low distortion. This excellent lens has the same slimline form as other X100 versions, allowing it to work with existing WCL and TCL lens attachments.

Designed for Quality and Speed: X100V has been intended to always produce great image and video quality, from short holiday moments and family gatherings to hard-hitting visual stories and ever-changing city streets. It takes great technology to create a tool this capable of, which is why Fujifilm’s state-of-the-art X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 combination is at the heart of this camera.

My Review: “I’m a big Nikon fan, but I think this camera line is missing in possibilities. Both cameras are excellent, but I chose the Lumix LX 10 for my needs.”

    • Thanks for reading my post! I love DSLR’s and Mirrorless Cameras, but those are for those who don’t mind waiting for the perfect shot. They do produce incredible photos. Point and shoots are there for people on the go, and want better pictures that what a phone can do. I am noticing this right now as I left my Sony a7 at home and just brought my smartphone with me to NYC. Not the best pictures I wanted so far and wished I brought a p&s at minimum.

    • I am near a camera store right now in NYC that is the biggest camera store I have ever seen. I might have to check out the Lumix TX90 and see what’s under the hood, and get back with my results. Thanks for checking out my article!
