Promising Amazon Review: “The Canon powershot g7x mk iii is a high end point and shoot with a robust set of features. The built in stabilization is a huge help especially in low light conditions, and the camera sensor also has very good low light performance with a good signal to noise ratio. The amount of features packed into this small camera is almost overwhelming, with so many special effects modes to choose from I’m not sure I would ever use them all, I usually stick to the more basic and manual modes. There are also so many other features too numerous to mention. When I showed the camera to my niece at a family gathering, she ordered one on Amazon two days later. Promising Review: ” The best point and shoot camera I’ve ever owned. I’m a big Nikon guy but feel they are lacking in options with this range of camera. It was a toss up between this and the Sony RX100v, but I went this direction due to the articulating screen and a few other minor things. Both cameras are great, but for my use I went with the Lumix LX 10.”

I think DSLR is still the way to go, but some people don’t need that kind of quality, in which case point-and-shoot is a good option! And the financial difference is enormous.

Thanks for reading my post! I love DSLR’s and Mirrorless Cameras, but those are for those who don’t mind waiting for the perfect shot. They do produce incredible photos. Point and shoots are there for people on the go, and want better pictures that what a phone can do. I am noticing this right now as I left my Sony a7 at home and just brought my smartphone with me to NYC. Not the best pictures I wanted so far and wished I brought a p&s at minimum.

I am near a camera store right now in NYC that is the biggest camera store I have ever seen. I might have to check out the Lumix TX90 and see what’s under the hood, and get back with my results. Thanks for checking out my article!
