Barbecuing has been around as long as the cave people have.
The first people in the world quickly realized that food tasted good after being cooked on an open fire. In recent history, barbecuing has become a family tradition.
While the majority of families in the United States own a grill, only a few view grilling as a sport or hobby, rather than just another way to cook.
This is why I am reviewing the Weber Summit E-670 Natural Gas Grill for those of you in the market for the next great BBQ.
My Review – Weber Summit E-670 Natural Gas Grill
Where to Start?
The easiest grill to use is by far the natural gas grill. Natural gas grills are designed to hook directly into your home’s natural gas line, eliminating the need to offer the fuel source.
This cuts out all trips to the grocery store for more charcoal or propane.
Another advantage when using natural gas grills is the ability to control the temperature at which you are cooking.
Natural gas grills have burner controls that allow you to produce different temperatures for the different cooking areas on your grill. This allows you to cook your meat on one side while keeping your side dished warm on the other.

Grilling can be a fun or serious hobby depending on the person at hand. There is a certain level of patience and practice needed if you are wanting to achieve a higher level of grilling.
For those that are especially interested in the sport of grilling, owning a Weber Summit E-670 Natural Gas Grill may have certain benefits that other grills cannot offer.
Weber products have been a family tradition since I have been a child.
My father has owned Weber products for years, and I have always taken his hand me downs when he upgraded to the newest Weber on the market.
I started getting tired of the showboating when it comes to the bbq, so this time I wanted to upgrade my grill before my father could.
So, when I had my parents over for a sunny weekend meal, I decided to proudly show my new Weber Summit to my father. From the look on his face, I can say I won this round.

Enjoy The View
These outstanding grills are the crown jewels of the Weber family. From exclusive features to the highest level of performance, these babies will make even seasoned grillers blush.
Available in classic black, the Summit E gas grill adds plenty more than just style to your backyard. Try the four stainless-steel burners, LED tank scale, side burner, and Snap-Jet individual burner-ignition system on for size.
The innovative Flavorizer bar system, created by Weber, is designed perfectly to perform a variety of functions on the Spirit, Summit, and Summit gas grills.
Angled just right, the Flavorizer bars catch drippings that smoke and sizzle, adding flavor to your food.
Any drippings not vaporized by the Flavorizer bars follow the slope of their unique angle and are funneled away from the burner tubes, down into the grease management system.
Not only does this help prevent flare-ups inside your grill, but it also protects the burner tubes from becoming clogged.
Made of either porcelain enamel or stainless steel, Flavorizer bars are durable, long-lasting, and easy to care for.
Periodically brushing them clean with a Weber stainless-steel grill brush will help keep Flavorizer bars performing at their best.
When juices drip off the meat, they funnel down to the Flavorizer bars, and then what doesn’t vaporize into wonderful smoke goes down into the grease management system.
The grease management system consists of an angled grease tray and a catch pan. The tray rests beneath the cookbox a safe distance from the burner tubes to prevent the grease from catching fire.
Grease is channeled down the grease tray and into the catch pan. Both the grease tray and catch pan are easy to clean.
The tray easily slides out of the cabinet for cleaning, and when the catch pan starts to fill, simply remove the disposable drip pan, toss it in the trash, and replace it with an empty pan.
My Review: Weber Summit E-670 Natural Gas Grill
Let’s just say I’ve had many grills over the years.
They have been Weber’s for the most part, but they have been used ones as I always try to save a few bucks. Recently I thought “What the heck am I doing you cheap bugger?”
This is by far the best grill purchase I have ever made. It’s a beast! This Weber Grill is so well made, with easy access to all moving parts.
Do you know what hot spots are? You know, the areas on the grill that is hot, the areas that were not so hot, etc.? With the Weber Summit E-670 you are not getting this at all! No flare-ups!
Plus, this thing gets hot but in a good way. I haven’t cooked steaks like this before. Probably the best steaks I have ever made.
When I BBQ, I tend to start by heating the BBQ up to the max, to sear all the juices then turn the heat to medium for the rest of the cooking time.
Then the heat controls are so responsive I don’t have any risk of burning my steaks.
Plus, there is so much available space for other items to be grilled at the same time. I am still trying out the many ways to cook on this grill like indirect heat, and so on.
I would recommend this grill to anyone serious about the outdoor grilling. Just amazing!
